About the Goddess
Shree Uma Maheshwari Devi is the divine consort of Lord Shiva, revered as the embodiment of divine feminine energy. Known for her grace, power, and wisdom, she is an essential figure in Hindu mythology, often depicted as a compassionate and nurturing goddess. Uma, another name for goddess Parvati, represents purity, devotion, and the protective energy of the universe, while Maheshwari signifies her oneness with Lord Shiva, the supreme deity.
As a central figure in the cosmic balance, Shree Uma Maheshwari Devi is honored for her role in maintaining harmony between creation and destruction. Her worship is believed to bless devotees with strength, prosperity, marital bliss, and spiritual wisdom. She is also regarded as the goddess who removes obstacles and bestows peace and protection to her followers. Founders
Shree Uma Maheshwari Temple was founded by Shri B.K. Sheena & Smt. Lalitha Sheena on October 3, 1978.
Shri B.K. Sheena faced a life-altering event in 1992 that took away his vision. Despite this, his resilience and determination led him to envision and transform this temple into a magnificent Shilamaya Temple. The ambitious project reached its completion in May 2011, marking a significant milestone. The "Punar Pratistha" (reinstallation) of the idol was performed on 23 May 2011.
The occasion was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Shri Vishvesha Tirtha Swamiji of Pejavar Mutt, Udupi, Shri Niranjana Swamiji of Ambika Annpoorneshwari Temple, Mumbai, and Shri Suvarna Baba of Shree Suvarna Temple, Mumbai, Vedamurthy Shri Laxminarayana Asranna, Kateel, and Vedamurthy Shri Narayana Thantry, Jarkala.The temple's Mukhya Archaka, Shri Srinivas Udupa, paid a heartfelt tribute, acknowledging the founder's dedication and achievements. He remarked, “Many people in this world possess wealth, but not all have the vision or divine blessing required to build a temple. Such a feat can only be accomplished by someone truly favored by the gods.'”

Shree Subramanya is the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, worshipped as the god of war, wisdom, and strength. Depicted with a spear and riding a peacock, he is believed to remove obstacles, offer protection, and bring success in both battles and life. He is also revered for his spiritual wisdom and healing powers.
Shree Uma Maheshwara is the divine union of Goddess Parvati (Uma) and Lord Shiva, symbolizing balance and harmony. Uma represents purity, devotion, and nurturing energy, while Maheshwara signifies the supreme power of Shiva. Together, they embody the cosmic balance of creation and destruction, bringing peace, protection, and spiritual strength to their devotees.
Shree Badrakali is a fierce form of the goddess Kali, worshipped primarily in South India. She is known for her strength, power, and protection. Badrakali is often depicted with a dark complexion, wearing a garland of skulls, symbolizing the destruction of evil. She is revered for her ability to ward off negative forces and protect her devotees from harm.
Shree Hanuman is a revered deity in Hinduism, known for his immense strength, devotion, and courage. He is the son of Vayu (the wind god) and Anjana, and is a devoted follower of Lord Rama. He played a key role in the Ramayana, aiding Lord Rama in rescuing Sita from the demon king Ravana. Hanuman is revered for his ability to remove obstacles, protect his devotees, and bestow strength and wisdom.
Shree Naag Devataa refers to serpent deities in Hinduism, symbolizing protection, power, and fertility. These serpent gods, often associated with water, earth, and renewal, are believed to possess divine energy that can protect devotees from harm. They are honored during Naga Panchami, a festival dedicated to seeking their blessings for health, prosperity, and protection.

Shree Kala Bhairav
Shree Kala Bhairav is a fierce manifestation of Lord Shiva, worshipped as the god of time, destruction, and protection. He is the guardian of temples and the remover of fear and negativity. He is often depicted with a fierce expression and carrying weapons. He is especially revered on Kalabhairav Ashtami and is believed to guard devotees from negative forces.
